A Morning on the Rooftops: Life as a Sutryk & Son Roofing Professional

5:30 AM – Rise and Shine

The alarm goes off early when you’re in the roofing business. I grab my safety gear and pack my lunch while checking the weather forecast for our service areas across the Southern Tier.

6:15 AM – Morning Brief

Arriving at Sutryk & Son’s yard, we gather for our daily briefing. Today’s schedule includes three projects:
* Emergency repair in Waverly
* Shingle replacement in Horseheads
* Initial assessment in Vestal

7:00 AM – First Job

The morning dew is still fresh as we arrive at our first location. Working in residential roofing means every project is unique. Today’s emergency repair requires careful attention to match existing materials while ensuring the homeowner’s property is protected.

11:30 AM – Moving On

After completing the repair, we head to Horseheads. This is what I love about serving multiple communities across New York and Pennsylvania – the varied landscapes and architecture styles keep the work interesting.

3:00 PM – Final Assessment

The day winds down with a new roof consultation in Vestal. We take measurements, discuss material options, and provide the homeowner with a detailed estimate. It’s satisfying knowing we’re helping protect local homes.

4:30 PM – Wrap Up

Back at the yard, we clean equipment, complete paperwork, and prepare for tomorrow. Another fulfilling day serving our community’s roofing needs from Elmira to Owego, and over to Sayre.

Remember, in this business, every day brings new challenges and opportunities to demonstrate why local expertise matters in residential roofing services.
